Today was a super long day!  (And therefore has an extra meal it appears)  ;-)

I got up around 3 a.m. or so to work a little.  The empty plate for breakfast was the last of the awesome vegetable burritos Courtney made several days ago.  I had 1.5 plates for dinner (Courtney took an action shot as she accused me of trying to cheat on the second plate)!

The cookies features are a low calorie oatmeal variety, with apples, honey, oats, and some other cool stuff.  They are yummy.

I also ran 1.5 miles today in around 16 minutes.  My side cramp made me double over in pain this time, so I had to stop at the 1.5 mark.  I was going to try to shoot for 2 again, but couldn't quite make it!  Hopefully the cramp was a fluke (at least to the point where I had to double over).  :-)

October 21st 2009

Dang, I missed an afternoon Mocha again!

But other than that, I got back on the picture wagon, today. ;-)

I took about a 45 minute walk, but running either.  For some reason, I don't think I ate dinner.  There's nothing pictured here and when I think back on it...  hmmm...  No I didn't have dinner tonight!  Whoops.

October 20th 2009

You might be asking yourself...  wait... why is there only 1 picture today?

It's because I FELL OFF THE WAGON TODAY!

It's o.k. though, I'm back on it. ;-)

It all started when I only got about 90 minutes of sleep last night.  That's a long story, but the point is this...  I really need to get some decent sleep.  It makes all the world of difference.

While I missed taking a lot of the pictures, I did record the food at one point in the day.

I had 2 mochas, a banana, 8 ritz crackers, 10 M&Ms (yes 10), a bowl of mixed beans, and the dinner shown in the pictures (black bean, broccoli, and avocado burritos with a salad.

Oh, and I didn't work out!  Yikes!  Here's to catching the wagon tomorrow.

October 19th 2009

Today, I got up at around 5 a.m. to finish up a project, but took a break at 6:30 (when gym opens) to go run.

I did 2 miles in around 21:50!  Not breaking any speed records, but once again I didn't cheat or walk at any point.  I honestly didn't expect to progress this fast (been awhile since I could run consistently for 20 minutes+).

Today's food was fairly typical.  Oatmeal (made less this time), Lentil and vegetable soup, and some spinach lasagna.  I'm fairly sure I had another mocha around lunchtime that snuck by without the camera, as well.  Whoops!

Tomorrow morning is going to be a tough one (a lot going on), but I'm going to try to be down in the gym at 6:30 again!

October 18th 2009

Whoo-hoo, good day today!

I ate more (a.k.a. enough), but without going too overboard.  The only thing not pictures is a couple handful of peanuts I had for a snack while walking to the grocery store.

I also am happy to report that I ran 1.75 miles in right around 20 minutes!  This may not seem like a big deal to most, but I did this without holding on to the rails of the treadmill or walking at any point.  Rather than try to sprint and wear myself out I just varied the pace slightly to mix things up and it worked well!

October 17th 2009

Nothing special today.

I ate about 25% of the oatmeal shown in the first picture.  That's the weird thing about oatmeal.  I don't eat any of it and I feel full.

Had lentil and vegetable soup for two of the meals today with a couple small pieces of some low calorie Zucchini bread Courtney made! Mmmm...

No workout :-(.  I think I'm going to need someone to 'coach' or design a workout schedule.  I've had a couple people volunteer and will be following up more on this over the weekend!

October 16th 2009

I stayed up late working on the site last night, so fell back into a 2 mocha day today (3 hours of sleep is my excuse).

I'm going to try to be working on NOT doing that, because I know it has direct impact on my diet.

Simple day food-wise, the pictures tell it all! :-)

No exercise :-(.  I'm going to strive for a 2-mile run/jog tomorrow mid-morning though!  Wish me luck.

October 15th 2009

Another average day today.  My eating pattern are still freaky.

Had just a banana and mocha for breakfast, somewhere a little before lunch I had a handful of nuts (again not pictured!)...

Then in between lunch and dinner normally I had 2 plates of pasta and that was it from food.

I blame the pasta on post workout binge!  Which means I DID workout.  I used the 'rowing' machine pretty aggressively for almost 20 minutes before the lady got off the treadmill.  I only made it .5 miles jogging, though.  25 or 26 minutes total isn't bad, I know my heart rate was up.  :-)

I know I need to eat more spread out and actually probably much more food.  I don't know though.  My hunger is still playing Jedi mind tricks on me...  day 2 of this.

October14th 2009

Weird... weird.. day, folks.

I don't know what happened today, but I wasn't hungry.  Not really, at all.

First, I didn't have ANY mochas, which was very weird.  No headaches, no cravings even really for one.

Second, I had a handful of peanuts (not pictured), a bowl of mixed beans, and some vegetable curry.  That's it.  I didn't want to eat when I wasn't hungry, but at the same time I know I didn't eat enough.  Never really happened to me before.  /shrug

Also, I didn't work out again.  Maybe this was because I didn't eat.  Maybe I was just too lazy, I don't know!

Anyone have an explanation for this?

October 13th 2009

Not much news today.  Very simple.  Left overs for a late breakfast, one mocha, Subway for a late lunch, and a banana, apple, and cup of nuts later in the evening.

Even though we went to Subway, I only got a 6 inch veggie patty, topped with veggie.  Normally I would have gotten a footlong extra cheese!  :-)

Didn't work out again today.  Sort of hit a wall.  I could be dressed in on the treadmill in like 5 minutes if I really wanted.  Don't know what the holdup is.
